The band
You’re hiring the people who actually play the gig. 7 Sharp 9 is the same core band at every show — not a rotating cast pieced together for the date. Chris Wold has personally led every one of the 275+ weddings, and he’s the person couples email.
The band has been together since around 2000. The wedding work is the last 11+ years: pop, rock, dance, and country, mixed so grandparents and the wedding party end up on the same floor. Music runs non-stop from ceremony through the last song — live sets, with DJ and MC between them so the room never goes quiet.
If a song matters to you and it isn’t on the list, they learn it. That’s normal; they’ve learned 230+ special-request songs for couples. Based in Marietta/Atlanta, they travel everywhere. No travel restrictions.
The night
One band covering the whole arc, so you aren’t stitching three vendors together.
Solo acoustic and/or recorded music, a real PA, lapel mic for the officiant, handhelds for readers, and a sound engineer. Processional, unity, recessional — including songs they learn for you.
Live acoustic guitar or recorded music is included in every package. Depending on the package you choose, an upgrade to Saxophone is also available!
Full band. Chris MCs. Between live sets, a DJ keeps the floor moving so it never dies. First dances, party sets, last song — the floor is the point.
Rehearsal dinner is available too — solo, duo, or full band.
